Modifications at BENNING PV 1-1 installation tester
The photovoltaic installation tester BENNING PV 1-1 will be replaced by BENNING PV 1-1+.
Why was this step necessary?
In recent years, BENNING PV 1-1 has been used successfully for fast and safe testing of photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V DC. Recently, more and more modern PV model variants have been causing difficulties. With the BENNING PV 1-1+ we react to the change and optimize the test behavior and test reliability.
Information
The latest generation of PV modules use cell technologies higher efficiencies and higher effective capacity. In the event of a short circuit, these PV modules with high capacitance can generate very high peak currents that are much higher than the short circuit current (Isc) of the module. This peak currents needs to be handeld correct from the PV testers.
All other functions and measuring ranges are comparable with BENNING PV 1-1. From the oudside the user will find only a more higher housing (see picture below).
